Ivermectin belongs to the avermectin group and works against roundworms and parasites.
Indication
For the treatment of gastrointestinal roundworm infections, lungworms, lice, nasal botfly (oestriasis), and scabies in calves, cattle, goats, and sheep.
Contraindications
Must not be administered to lactating animals.
Adverse Effects
When ivermectin comes into contact with soil, it binds rapidly and tightly to it, becoming inactive over time.
Free ivermectin may adversely affect fish and certain aquatic organisms that fish rely on for food.
Route Of Administration & Dosage
Calves, cattle, goats, and sheep: 1 ml per 175 kg of body weight.
